So I am planning to modify my coldwater 5mm wetsuit boots to use with a brand new set of warm water travel fins by inserting insoles with a 2 inch heel lift to take up space that is normally occupied by my drysuit sock.

I am wondering if this will affect the biomechanics of a properly executed flutter and frog kick?

Buy a second set of fins.

i just bought a pair of Aeris Accels.

What I am wondering is: Does starting the flutter and frog kick with the ankle in plantarflexion affect propulsion in any way - for better or worse? Any kinesiologists want to comment?
