My wife and I have been SCUBA diving for 8 years mostly in the Caribbean, Florida, and Mexico while vacationing. We started noticing more and more kiteboarders/kitesurfers on windy days. It looked fun and like a good activity to complement our diving, since my wife prefers to dive when it’s not so windy. So, 2 years ago I took some lessons and have found kiteboarding and SCUBA diving to be the perfect combination for our vacations since we often experience a few windy days.

Just curious, how many other divers out there have found kiteboarding to be a great compliment to their dive trips?

FYI: There are some hotels in South Padre Island, TX that are offering free kiteboarding lessons this fall if any divers are interested in learning. KitelandResort.com has the info.
