Has anyone seen any giant black sea bass out in Catalina this summer?
My labmate and I are staying out here on the island and are surveying the island for aggregations of these fish, but so far have had no luck finding any.
If anyone could point us in the right direction of where to find them, time of day, depth and if you know the GPS coordinates, that would be amazing.
We're also collaborating with Milton Love over at UCSB to get a statewide census of the number of GSB in California. Check it out if you are interested in participating. https://www.facebook.com/giantseabass
