I am offering up a really nice, well cared for, Ikelite housing for the Cannon D5 Mark II camera with tray, 8” dome port and 2 port tubes. I bought this thinking I would get into full frame (and maybe I will eventually), but I need to keep with my m4/3 system for now.

Here is a list of everything included:

  • Ikelite case #6871.02 (TTL) for Canon 5D Mark II (incl. dbl release handle tray – no ports - $1600)
  • Ikelite part # 5510.45 modular 8” dome with cover ($400)
  • Ikelite part # 5510.24 8” dome zoom body (4.25” extension for modular 8” dome - $125)
  • Ikelite part # 5510.11 8” dome superwide body (2.75” extension for modular 8” dome - $125)
  • Ikelite part # 9059.8 Focus/Zoom ring clamp with springs ($15)
  • Ikelite part # 9059.9 Focus/Zoom ring clamp with springs ($15)
  • Misc. small parts such as maintenance kit, dome locks, manuals, etc.

I am not the original owner, so I am not certain how many dives are on this rig, but it has been used and is in very nice condition (obviously well cared for). I got this with all buttons working smoothly (I still serviced them anyway), TTL circuit was demonstrated working (and Ike TTL connector is perfect), no corrosion (from poor maintenance)… really just a well kept kit. I’ve leak tested it @ 10’ (pool test) for 6 hours (with button pushing and dial turning) and it was 100% good – zero water intrusion. I haven’t been able to use this deep or with a Canon 5D as I don’t yet have one to test with. The port tubes are the correct size for many/most of the popular lenses which might be used with this kit. So all one should need to add is the Canon 5D itself (with lens) + strobe(s) and TTL cord(s).

Of note: Inspection will find the following issues (all minor) – Housing is fitted with the new low profile port locks (4x) which is good and required for the superwide low profile port (2.75”); however, 2x of these have some negligible flaws (meaning they are functional, but could use replacing). Housing has typical micro scratching on surfaces, but there is some localized scratches on the case/housing underside where it attaches to the tray (I think these are normal). 8” dome shade has some very minor digs on a couple of its edges (not easily noticed and definitely nothing wrong – no cracks or damage).

I’d like to ask $1050 + shipping for everything (OBO), I could go as low as $725 for just the housing

If you have a nice Canon 5D Mark II you'd part with for a fair price, let me know, as I might buy/trade for it and end up using this nice rig for myself!

I have 100% perfect reputation with ebay (score of 574 ID = coach*jim since 2000) and on every forum I’ve ever sold anything (and typically I get feedback that notes condition is even better than I described). But I always will listen to any complaints you might have if this is not what you expected upon inspection/testing. Even if you change your mind, I’m happy to refund everything except shipping as long as it’s returned back to me in same condition and all original materials.
