My friend dropped my boat ladder in the water near the Breakers in Palm Beach, Florida in about 60 ft of water. They tried to mark the spot and we re-dove it but had no luck. Hoping someone might come across it. It has a single silver post down the middle and 3 rungs coming off of it.

Sounds like you are describing an Armstrong ladder. They float!!
 
I had one pop off a rental boat in Grand Cayman. Luckily I caught it with my feet and fins before it went all the way to bottom of the bay. Good luck.
