Hi guys , new to the site, and to diving, can anyone tell me what's different from transpac 2 to the xt, I tried on a 2 at my local dive shop, but see it's not available online, so it begs the question why not. Thanks

Was discontinued years ago. Was introduced in the late 90's, and the II was dropped from the name in the early 2000's. Both are good products. Starting in 2005 they are all made in the US in upstate NY and still are if that matters. The XT is just the current naming convention but they haven't really changed other than the back/hip pads over the years. I think in 2010 the hip plates got cut in half which I guess is a nice feature, but you certainly can't tell when diving it unless you are super skinny *read protruding hip bones*.
