RAID International is proud to announce the establishment of their Korean Office under the leadership of Kim Dong Hyuk (Thomas), also the CEO of SDD International. The Korean office will administer RAIDs affairs in North Korea, Palau and Saipan.
SDD International (www.sddi.org), is a leading diver training center in Korea and is adding their power to achieve RAIDs strategic goals in the region. Kim has built a brilliant diving career over more than 20 years. He has trained more than 250 trainers as the NAUI Korea representative from 1997 to 2000, and as the CEO of SDD International, has trained more than 400 trainers and 80 technical instructors. He is also the Chief Operator of Korean Diving Expo.
In addition to this, as a pioneer of Korean underwater photographer, Kim founded the Korea Underwater Photo & Video Association.
Ive been looking for a strong tool that is able to help people easily get into diving. RAIDs fully online diver training program is that perfect tool with over 40 programs already on line and many more coming. So people, interested in diving can access RAID online according to their current level of training and check out what they need to do next so easily. Then, they can simply chose a RAID Dive Centers to obtain their pool and openwater training. said Kim.
Kims highly experienced team at SDD International are already into the process of translating all RAID online dive manuals into Korean so that they can begin servicing Korean customers.
Well also cover Saipan, Palau and North Korea. Of course, it will be sometime in the future in the case of North Korea before we see too much action there. Kim added laughing.
RAID International is very excited to have Mr. Kim, Dong Hyuk and his team on board as a part of RAID global lineup. We know Kim and his teams past achievements and believe they can help us to get a strong position in Korean and other regions they are responsible for. said Terry Cummins, Business Director of RAID international.
RAIDs online Korean version will be released in August/ September 2014. In the meantime, dive centers in Korea, Saipan and Palau will be able to tap into potential divers more effectively through RAID online by simply contacting RAID International and/or SDD International (RAIDs representative in Korea).
