The Internal Optical YS Converter is a compact unit that converts your cameras TTL signal to an LED light signal. The light signal is then transferred from the IOC to your SEA&SEA strobe via SEA&SEAs updated Fiber Optic Cable (FOC). The updated FOC consists of 613 braided Fiber Optic Cables which greatly increases the accuracy of the IOCs light signal. The SEA&SEA IOC is so accurate, a Sync Cord system is no longer necessary. SEA&SEAs ingenious design decreases possible leak points by eliminating the use of threaded cables and bulkheads. SEA&SEA strobes will fire in accordance with their quickest recycle time, as the strobes are no longer limited by the recycle time of cameras built-in flash. This system also prevents overheating and conserves camera battery life.
SEA&SEA ensures that installation of the Internal Optical Converter was convenient and user-friendly. It is compatible with SEA&SEA YS-D1, YS-01 and YS-110α strobes. In addition, TTL or Manual modes are easily accessible with the push of an external button and recognized by a colored LED indicator.
