I just don't log dives
  • Just got a new OCi this week.
  • Came home and installed OceanLog as downloaded from Oceanic website, also installed proper Drivers.
  • Tried to connect between Desktop computer and Dive computer - Failed.
  • Uninstalled software - uninstalled drivers - reinstalled software - reinstalled drivers.
  • Tried to connect between Desktop computer and Dive computer - Failed.
  • Uninstalled software - uninstalled drivers - reinstalled software - reinstalled drivers - rebooted computer.
  • Tried to connect between Desktop computer and Dive computer - Failed.

  • Called Oceanic helpdesk and talked to nice young man.
  • He asked if all downloads were done using Internet Explorer.
  • Answer - Yes.
  • Suggests that I uninstall software - uninstall drivers.
  • Open browser using Chrome or Firefox then download and reinstall software and drivers.
  • Works like a charm, now.

  • Bad Internet Explorer.
