Yes, we have another great launch! says Barry Coleman, Founder and Director of RAID International excitedly. We have been working very hard to help develop a truly beneficial, fully online continued education stimulus program that really works for both RAID Dive Centres and RAID divers. In this regard, we have launched the: RAID BONUS / GIFT COURSE.
Many RAID course now have a Bonus or Gift course linked to them, so when a RAID diver purchases a course and there is a linked course, the theory portion of the course is awarded to the RAID diver for free. All the online quick quizzes and access to the RAID manual are opened and the RAID diver may complete these at their leisure with no obligation at this point to pay for the course or to become certified. The Gift part of the course has no time limit, and when the RAID diver wants to fully complete the course, they simply purchase the course, online or the RAID Dive Centre can credit the course to them through the RAID Dive Centre redemption program.
Once the course has been purchased, the exam and in-water skills are opened and also available for the RAID Instructor and diver to sign-off once satisfactorily completed. From the time of purchase the RAID diver has 6 months to complete the exam and in-water skills portion of the course successfully. When all is done, the RAID certification is processed and the diver receives their RAID E Card immediately with the further option to have a plastic C Card also printed immediately through participating RAID Dive Centres. Coleman said; the other great thing about the RAID Gift Course is it may also be linked to another course. The RAID diver could again get the next course as a Gift. We are confident this will really stimulate interest in continuing education, associated gear sales and dive travel.
Coleman went on to say; our IT team at RAID has been working extremely hard on many new developments and are well ahead of the game. For example, some other training agencies dont allow dive centres access to all their programs, RAID does. Some even treat buoyancy as a specialty, RAID teaches buoyancy in all our courses and we are obviously very global being totally online with our theory.
Coleman laughs; they do not even touch everything else we do! We have some more great up-dates in the pipeline nearing completion for the DEMA Show 2014 which will tie right into this latest Gift Course development.
