Does anyone have more information on the finds of either the HMS Terror or Eburus that was found recently?

Like what?
Apparently Inuit oral history has placed an English ship at that location since it sank. So this whole notion of "discovery" is kinda like Columbus "discovering" America. A slap in the face to native and aboriginal history, knowledge, and continuing presence. Its also rather lame that the PM responsible for some of the largest budget cuts ever to Parks Canada and Environment Canada is suddenly hyping them.

That said, the Parks Canada videos and press releases show it to be shallow as you might expect (~35'). They wouldn't try to overwinter in a channel where currents and ice moved a lot. They'd chose a spot just deep enough to avoid grounding and/or getting pushed aground by moving ice. I've seen the map and its not anywhere you could actually dive it, unless you have a big long range float plane in your back pocket.
