Hi,

Posting it here as want to check with fellow Canadians what is/are their choices for diving and resort package at Cozumel? Looking for recreational dives and if possible, wouldn't mind to change hotel and do a day of cenote diving as well......

Prefer all-inclusive package generally as this solo trip's only purpose is diving so 3-4 dives a day for 3-4 days of diving.

Also, presume water temp is around 26-28C in Nov/Dec at Cozumel (never been there)?

All comments welcome (including other destination suggestions for Nov/Dec).

Thanks!

If you are open to hearing from Americans I can offer a little info. You are correct about the water temp--3 mm suit is perfect for me. And if you want to do the Cenotes, you can still stay in Coz. Just take the ferry over. Whoever you are diving with can help set this up. When we did it we were staying/diving with Scuba Club Cozumel. We asked about Cenotes, they made a call and we went the next day I think.

Most operators do two morning dives, and you can usually add in at least one afternoon dive and/or night dive if you want 3-4 per day. There are so many good hotels and dive ops in Cozumel, you almost can't go wrong. For a huge amount of info, check out the Cozumel section of this board. It is very active and full of good suggestions.

Just got back from Cozumel..

I stayed at the all inclusive Park Royal Resort and walked across the street and used a dive OP named Dive with Martin.

The Park Royal cost me less than $1000 for two people for 8 nights, food and alcohol included. They have several pools, swim up bars, a small section of beach and nightly entertainment.

Dives at Dive with Martin cost about $28 per tank. Never had more than 7 divers on the boat. Water, fruit and snacks during surface intervals.
