Kirk Krack of PFI has gotten together with some underwater enthusiasts such as Ren Chapman, Goh Iromoto and Shell Eisenberg among others, to create a creative video clip series dealing with free diving in unusual settings. The first installment was just launched yesterday, see below:

The crew traveled to New Providence in the Bahamas to work with Stuart Cove Dive Center in finding underwater locales. The clip opens with a fight/chase with Kirk going at it with
Shell Eisenberg through the scaffold remnants of the Vulcan Bomber in 45 ft. of water set from the classic 1964 James Bond movie "Thunderball" off southwest New Providence.

Kirk was saying he wears about triple the amount of normal weight to allow all the bottom action, flips and other gymnastics. That along with all the fast exertions, a normal thing to avoid in free diving, it is all quite an athletic accomplishment. They really whaled on it in the Vandenberg shoot on a particularly deep wreck. Kirk even confessed to kicking fellow actor Liz twice, had to hurt.

Very cool.

I noticed that you did touch various things. How did you ensure no life was damaged?

Will you be doing this world wide, or is it just in the Caribbean area?
