I was wondering if DR was still making the 10W HID bulbs available, or if they are no longer in production. I just acquired a MR11 canister light, the bulb is good but will need a replacement at some point, I would imagine.

Yes, you can still get the bulbs.
If not from a retailer, then USHIO will sell them if you go to the trouble of setting up an account w/them.
 
Thank you...will look into that. My local DR dealer has said they cant get them any longer. Probably just looking to push the LED conversions.
 
I still run 2 of these older DR lights only I've upgraded the ballast to the 14W version. Same bulb but closer to 1000 lumen output. Simple and inexpensive upgrade. One downside is the bulbs do seem to have a corresponding shorter life span.
