Anybody been?

Any info would be appreciated! Diving, snorkeling, the people, customs, taboos, travel to and from, mosquitos, etc.

I have read the books, but would like to hear a personal experience.

We researched it a bit when we were in Palau for a month a few years back. Based on our discusions with the locals it seemed like a great place to take a chartered small boat to. You needed at the time to be self contained. We heard that there were quite a few large fish there. When we head back to Palau next time we would definitely try it for at least a few days. A lot of fishermen go there for the big ones. It is a long boat drive from Koror though- no the sort of thing that you would do on a daily basis.
