I,ve heard rumours about a death of a person called Clement (Pouillot ??) while cave diving in mexico (cenotes i think). Anybody hear anything about this. My source would be the daughter-in-law of the dive buddy. My condoleances to the family but anybody have any information about the circumstances.

I just got confirmation that it was in fact Clement Pouillot who was an experienced scuba diver, ownwer of one of the big scuba shops in montreal.
From what i've heard they were following each other during the exit of the cave and when clement's dive buddy turned to check on him he had lost mask and reg and was stuck. His dive buddy didn't manage to get him out of the cave.
My condoleances to clemeent family , he was a good diver and was greatly appreciated in the diving community.

My french wasn't any help either, what I could grasp was
He really regrets that a friend and collegue of his passed away on the 16th of March. A honarable and dynamic friend who's pleasure served others.
The rest was to much for my level of translation.
