Planning a short side trip to Maldives in mid-June (~11-16) for land-based diving, and am debating recommendations I've been given, some in the north, others in the south. There are logistical benefits to my going to the north, but is there increased likelihood of more interesting diving in one region vs. the other? I know the weather & currents are changing. Advanced OW, primary interests the big fishies, like everyone, but also tiny littles & macro photography. All input appreciated, first visit to the region.
