For our meeting this month - June 18 - we're gathering once again at The Spaghetti Western #2 on TC Jester. Please note that there are two locations; we are at the TC Jester location.
The scoop is the same; the meeting officially starts at 7:30 pm but of course, you are welcome to come early and stay late. It's not a large restaurant so we'll be pretty easy to find - just listen for the loudest group there and it will be us. When you enter the front door head straight back past the bar (pit stops allowed) to the back room. Thursday is their steak night so in addition to their full menu, you can get a ribeye steak and loaded baked potato for $12.95. I had it last month and it was delicious.
Our speaker this month is Natalie Hall, who holds a seat on the Flower Gardens Sanctuary Advisory Council (SAC) under Dive Operations. Click on the link to see her bio. In short, she is an ecologist with degrees in Marine Biology and Coastal Management. She will be talking to us about what is happening in the sanctuary, in particular sanctuary expansion. She will also tell us a little about her educational and research experiences.
I'm ready to see an interesting program and talk diving with friends! See you there!
