Need info for Christmas Island

Hi all!!
Anyone been diving in Christmas Island? I browsed some info through the web but nothing could be as good as the real experience. So i'm gathering info to go there.

Is there a lot of dive shops?
Any recommendations?

Which is better, West Coast or East Coast?

I'm biased - I'll say West coast ALWAYS... but then again, I'm Western Australian!

well, is there any flights depart from Singapore? I've gathered some info, flights only depart via Perth and Jakarta. By the way does anyone think it's worth diving in Christmas Island :06:

Methinks that's the only way you'll get there unless you get a charter or catch an illegal fishing boat.
