This past weekend I read on a news ticker that a shark was born in an aquarium of only female sharks. Have any of you heard this report, and have more details?

It is not unusual in cold-blooded animals for sperm to be stored for years, and used on an "as-needed" basis.
In the bony fishes, it isn't unusual for the dominant fish in a group to change sex from female to male - but I don't think sharks do that.
Then again, maybe this gal cloned herself.

to be a Hybred,, The females were of one species but there were other sharks of a different species though smaller could have been, ya know on a night excursion.. Hybrids are not unusally in the animal kingdom.
