Can you help me identfy these 2?

Please take a look at those 2 images & tell me what they are. I see these on the reefs here in the Lower Keys all the time....

The lower (purple) one is almost certainly a brain coral of some sort. Can't tell the species without more detail.
The upper one looks like it might be a sponge, but without more detail I can't be sure at all - could even be a plant!

Orange coral is Ricordia Florida not like a sponge but more like a Anemone it has a mouth and tentacles and can capture its own food/phyto. The other is a Faviida or the scientific name is Mycetophllia danaana.

Most people know the orange ones as mushrooms. These paticular shrooms are highly sought after in the Aquarium trade because of the many brilliant colors they are found in. Please feel free to click on the link below to see a closer picture of them. The ones you see here were reproduced in a leased part of the ocean in Florida.
