Diving in Sao Miquel - help!

I am taking holidays in Sao Miquel this coming August and want to get some diving in. I am having a difficult time finding dive shops and information on diving there. Any help and advice would be appreciated.

My wife is not a Diver however has spent a great dela of time as a "Bubble watcher" Anyone have any advice or suggestions on who I can contact to set up some dives and the costs involved.

BTW - wife is from there originally (Furnas) and is fluent in Portuguese - I however am not.
