I am going to st bart (also spelled st barth) soon and would like to find if anyone has experience diving there and would rec a specific dive operation and locations.

I did a two tank boat dive in Gustavia, St Barths last year. Was just passing through on a sailboat, so I only got to dive one day.

The reef was certainly better than anything here in South Carolina, but it is not particularly spectacular. But we did have a unique experience during the second dive. Throughout we heard whale songs from a nearby pod. I never actually saw them, but it was a cool experience.

It was a good operator, and I was pleased that they were in no hurry. Let me drain my tank to 500psi, even though many of the other divers had already surfaced.
