Who saw it and what do you think of it?

... are of the old Kuilima (sorry about the spelling...) out on the North Shore of the island. It was built in the early 70's by Del Webb's company, in hopes that a gambling law would pass and they would have a casino there. Gaming law DIDN'T pass, and it was just a hotel for years that was popular with the folks who lived on the island. When I was stationed there with the 25th Division from '75 to '78 we used to go up for long weekends. Later the hotel was sold to Hilton or someone and was used when the hotel downtown was oversold. The tourists were bussed out to the north shore, hours away from Waikiki, to spend their vacations and complain.

Brought back a lot of memories....

Thanks for the history on that Frank. Right now, I am told, the only hotel out that way is turtle bay....
As for the show, I don't think I liked it....the story (what story?) jumped around too much. It seemed soooo fake. But it was the first episode, so I might take another look. The views were nice, but that is about it.

Where and when is this show??

...according to my guide on the satellite. I don't recall which network, but seeing that it's nearly that time now (EDT) I will sign off and go take a look....

Number of shows coming out to copy the success of the OC...............

Is there any scuba diving in it?

surfing....but I'm sure scuba will show up sooner or later.

We watched the show, but I really didn't like it much. Lots of nice camera work, but there wasn't much to the story.
