My father used to serve this; he had it on a cruise ship and figured he could do this, too. Simple, but delicious.

In the same vein - simple crowd pleasers
Sliced tomatoes sprinkled with chopped fresh basil and a good quality basalmic vinegar. For a twist, alternate the tomato slices with slices of good quality mozzerella cheese.
