I want to change the hose on my pony bottle. It’s to short. The setup is scubapro. Do I need to buy a scubapro hose or will any hose work? This hose is between primary and secondary. Do I need to take this to a shop?
Thanks for any help.

Any hose will work. You have to be careful unscrewing the nut on the second stage. SP has a special tool for that, but you can do it if you're careful.

Of course if you do buy a hose from the shop they might swap it for you right there.....Then they are responsible for it.

What exactly is 'primary and secondary'?

I'd assume he means first stage and second stage.

Thanks for the help. I decided to take it to the LDS.
They said they would install it for me.
