from a ScubaBoard trip, in April.
the reef is only 25-30 feet here, and waves were 6-8 feet
(the Captain didn't want to take us). We had the "Maytag"
effect, and the water was full of small particles, so
taking pics without an external strobe was a challenge, to
say the least... these are the better ones:
1. A view of the Benwood. This ship collided with another
merchant in 1942, running without lights to avoid U-Boats.
A brief history here
2. Close up of the metal hull. it's all covered with life now
3. A small barracuda hangs out
4. This blue sponge caught my eye. the color was amazing
5. one of the zillion yellowtail snappers near the wreck
