I am supposed to go to Yap next week, what are the current conditions of the reef after the typoon from people who have actually dove there?

I'm a dive travel agent with clients I've sent there since the typhoon.....diving conditions are pretty much back to normal except for a few reefs with heavy coral damage. They've closed those reefs for the immediate future.

Check out www.mantaray.com for trip reports from recent clients diving there.

Just got back from Yap, we found the reefs to be heavily damaged pretty much wherever we went unless deep, lots of coral rubble everywhere, but.....there was so much living coral and new encrustaceans that it really didn't make for a big problem....
