I didn't want to put this in non-diving related on the main board because the rest of the country (& world) probably doesn't want to be bothered with this:

Went to the Olympic Music Festival yesterday with some friends, and thoroughtly enjoyed ourselves! :dazzler1:

http://www.olympicmusicfestival.org/

The concert started at 2, we arrived just before 1 and had a nice picnic at one of the many tables dotting the grounds. We had too much food, but that's one of the best kinds of picnics - cheeses, bread, salami, fried chicken, fruit, and dessert. Oh, and we polished off several bottles of wine :D

The first & third numbers (Mozart & Beethoven) were spectacular, the Kodaly, was, well, interesting, but not our cup of tea. The Beethoven made it all worthwhile, though!!!

The resident donkeys were happy to be petted and share our carrot sticks with us, and afterward, we were able to sit and talk with the artists and festival head (also one of the performers) and share another bottle of wine.

If you go , make sure to check out his gardens. His flowers put mine to shame and everything is labeled!
