Hey Karen2!

Are you guys going as part of scuba sciences???

My wife and I are heading to San Diego- plan on diving the coronado islands on Friday.

enjoy the dive park!

Tony.

Hello Phoenix- I'll be at Casino Point this weekend (when am I not during summer?). Would be happy to offer any information your group needs. SB members stop by and say hi. I'll be the onew ith the white jeep parked near the stairs and an M&B yellow and gray wetsuit that should have been retired years back.

Yes Tony the trip is being run by Scuba Sciences. I'm really looking forward to it even though I'm one of the DM's along. Will probably have a few students on board. We are spending Saturday at the dive park and then a chartered liveaboard is picking our group up Saturday around 5ish and we will be spending the night and Sunday diving from the boat and then heading home Sunday night. If the trip goes well we will being doing more of these beach/boat combos in addition to our 2 and 3 day boat trips.

I understand that you don't really need the suit for warmth anyway! Maybe next time Don at M&B can just make you one out of canvas. No warmth, but protects you from getting any abrasions.

:11: After reading what I just wrote, I want to add that in no way am I implying that you dive like a rototiller, only that you seem to have a reputation for diving with minimal exposure protection.

I'm just trying to keep my fin out of my mouth! :eyebrow:

Christian- Heck, the M&B is still one of my warmest wet suits despite being 14 years old and full of tears (although most are not all the way through). After all it is a 7mm and the only major modification is that M&B cut off the legs for me when the knees wore through beyond repair. Of course I kept the legs so I can put them on if the water temp drops below 53 or so.

The real reason I'm wearing it again (instead of one of my three new 7mm suits) is that I hurt my knee and it is much easier to get the legs through since it is a shortie.

I'll be there Sat. Back from Cabo and Florida, it will be nice to get back into the home waters again. See you at the Pointe!

Hey Ken, good to hear you'll be there. I want to get a first hand report from you on the Keys. I'm heading to Florida and will be diving in the Keys with a buddy of mine from the Sea of Cortez.
