Anybody look at the swell model for today. Everything 0-1 feet. All dark blue. Can that be legit, or is something broken?

Somthig could be broken. The forcast does not agree with the Navy https://www.navo.navy.mil/cgi-bin/graphic.pl/metoc/81/21/0-0-1/2 But the ocean does look good. Yesterday at Crescent Cove, swimming there appeared to be more bump on the ocean than 0-1 foot, but not over 0-2 foot. Surf was still small. Bad news is the water was green and visibility was 10 feet or so of murk.

Do you think the green could be algae coming up because of the heat?

Algae blooms and subsequent die off are not unusual with the warmer waters. Last year, by my recollection, was worse. I was in the water last night and it was 0-1' so, while the swell model is experimental, it seems to be pretty darn close most of the time.
