Casino Dive this Sunday

Okay, got the ferry booked for me, my honey and her daughter to take the ferry to Cataliner this Sunday (8/15). Leave on the 6:15am, return on the 2:05pm. May end up taking a later one back, though the later ones are probably booked. Also expect a buddy and his wife to join us. The girls will go to Lover's Cove for some snorkeling and/or probably wander around Avalon doing girl stuff. We'll probably do a dive or two then go over and snorkel with the girlz. Anyone who wants to join us for diving and/or snorkeling is very welcome.

After lugging my gear up and down those steps at Crescent Bay this weekend, it'll be nice to have the baggage guys pick up our gear at the ferry, bring it over to the Casino while we take a leisurely stroll over and have breakfast. Then just don the gear, go down a few steps and.....aaahhhhhh !!!!!!

Maybe we can even drag Melvin away from his beach diving.....

Just curious, what was that girl stuff? Many of us girls would be blowing bubbles! Sorry, just had to give you a hard time.

You know, girl stuff...buying frilly stuff, gossiping, eating in outdoor cafes...girl stuff !!

Just kidding. Actually I was just referring to my honey and my buddy's wife who don't dive. At least not yet. Any females who would like to join us for a dive are always welcome.

Have a good time Jim. I really enjoyed the dive park last weekend. It was a great place to work on some fundamentals, and then revert back to the tourists we really are. I like that there is so much variety in depth available. I can work on buoyancy, ascent rate, etc. Then the wildlife just seems to know that there won't be anybody fishing there. And the temperature? Wow...66-68 Suunto degrees, at 60 feet! I left the hood off on the second dive. And, curiously enough, that solved my little buoyancy problem from the first dive (just a tad positive at 10-15 feet).
