Living in Arizona its a wee bit hard to go bug hunting, so I enjoy reading everyones reports,so lets see that big bad boy monster, maybe have ourselves a little unofficial contest to see the biggest of the biggest

Here's mine.

Me and my buggin' buddy "Woody" like to get out once in a while during season. We get a good haul every now and then. Here's a few pics from over the years. Our season re-opens again in a couple of weeks (Sept-April).

Enjoy! I have many more to send you too!

I just love this one, but I snorted coffee all over my monitor when I saw it. Only a true Floridian would appreciate this picture. Thanks loads.

Eh? :)

Its an old one... can't fit much gear under her shell either...

Spectre:
I'm unfortunately limited to a 5" max carapice.

This was the first bug I ever caught. 4 15/16" carapice!

FIRST!? Unbelievable.

I think you guys further north have more of the biggies. But that is just conjecture.
It too me over 3 yrs of serious hunting to get the big one.
Of course I will keep looking for the next one.
