Hi, I'm wondering if there's any spearfisherman in New York or any clubs I can join. I need to find a buddy to go spearfishing with.

Where do you plan on spearfishing? I ask because it is illegal in freshwater here in NY. I imagine the saltwater is ruled differently and the Long Island and other NYC area divers can help you on that.

I no longer spearfish that much, but a dive club I belong to has several very avid spearfisherman..johnnyboy2476:
