While diving in lake whatcom off of AM/PM Beach, I was floating over the big sunken old growth trees and wanted to see how deep it went.

After seeing the visually dark wall at 42' leading into the much colder "Blue canyon" I went back and made sandcastles with my niece instead.

Anyone been down there? I've seen published depths at 140-150'. Is it worth the trip down to see what's there?
