Instead of posting a new thread every time, I have made a new post entitled "2004 Season Atami Dive Reports" which will be used for frequent dive reports.
New reports will be posted as followups (replies).
Feel free to post your own reports if I do not have one for that weekend/day.

We had some wonderful weather during the November 27 and 28 weekend in Atami. The visibility was exceptional on Saturday, and pretty good on Sunday. Estimated 10-20 on Saturday and 10-15 on Sunday.
Dive Site: Yokoiso Beach
Weather Conditions: Sunny and warm
Air Temperature: 17 degrees
Water Temperature: 21 degrees
Visibility 10-15 meters
Dive Site: Chinsen
Weather Conditions: Sunny and warm
Air Temperature: 17 degrees
Water Temperature: 20 degrees at depth (28 meters), 21 at surface
Visibility 10-20 meters
While most were diving dry, I was doing an entry level course and my policy is to use the same exposure protection as the student. The first day I used a 2 piece 5 mm. wetsuit and the second day I used a 1 piece 5 mm. wetsuit with a hood. I wasn't toasty warm, but wasn't a popsicle, either.
Congratulations to Jackie, new Scuba Diver!

Drysuit weather (Diving Concepts trilam suit with Thinsulate Stretch TPS undergarments), cloudy and a bit chilly with some raindrops for a few moments.
Our customer braved it out with a 2 piece 5 mm wetsuit. He was cold after 20 minutes but there was one woman on the boat who was fine in a 1 piece 5 mm. wetsuit. She was tough.
However, since Thomas and Steve were doing a deco dive, we sat on the boat freezing for about 30 minutes. Thanks, guys!
Dive Site: Chinsen
Weather Conditions: Cloudy
Air Temperature: 9-10 degrees
Water Temperature: 19 degrees at depth (25 meters)
Visibility 10-15 meters
Conditions were similar on the second dive in the afternoon, Bitagane. I didn't go on that dive, I let Divemaster Geoff attend to the customer. There was a bit more surge and surface chop, with the winds coming up.
