In the past I've been asked by several dive clubs in SoCal to give talks to their monthly meetings. I enjoy the opportunity to meet "new" (to me) divers and offer them video presentations on marine life in SoCal, especially at Casino Point. I thought I'd offer myself (no, not as a human sacrifice) as a potential speaker to add to your club's list.
I usually request $25 to help defray some of the travel costs from Catalina to the mainland. However, as I develop video products suitable for sale, I could sell these at the meeting to cover the costs of travel, etc.
My most recent talk was to the Dive 'n' Surf club and included a 40-min video presentation on things one can see in the Casino Point Dive Park. The talk was very well received by the members.
