In the years we have been coming to Kona - we have made it to the parking lot where you start hiking to the Green Sand Beach. But always chicken out...my knees are fine in the water but not so good for walking. Has anyone done the hike? How bad or good is it. We will be back in Feb.

I guess it depends on how much you like nude beaches.

Darn I think I'm going to love that beach.

I did the hike two weeks ago. It was an easy hike and the beach was pretty but if you have bad knees I would skip it. The drop offs on the other side of the road were more impressive and you can drive right up to them. Oh yeah, everyone I saw at the beach had there clothes on.

Nude Beach! What, Where! :hm: :hm:
