Here's a possibility. A Cincinnati area dive shop group has 1 opening for a Truck liveaboard. Fly from the US on October 2nd-return October 10th. Price includes air, Odyssey liveaboard, 2 hotel nites. $3500.

Hey Lori,
Flower Gardens is accessible from the Texas coast near Houston (Freeport) and is acclaimed as a beautiful and inexpensive dive. The Freeport chamber of commerce will list the bare-bones dive boats, but a nicer one is here:

I don't know where you're at in the world, but I'm about 12 hours drive from Houston and am planning to zip down there at the end of September. Kinda running out of season, aren't we. Hope this helps.
