Anyone familiar with Anacapa?. Three of us that usually take our 26ft boat to Catalina, are planning on next weekend to Anacapa. I'm looking for the easiest location for Boat launching,(city or marina name?) and which area is the best (closest?) that will allow hunting?( which island or area) . Any info including GPS or details would be a great help....None of us have been there before.....Thanks!!! :06:
 
I know this isn't a real help - but I took a dive boat out from the Ventura harbor. You could probably launch there - or possibly from Carpinteria. I know Carp is the closest geographically, but I don't know if you can launch something that large there - last I heard it was only a beach launch area.
