Even though some of us had to cancel dives two days in a row this weekend, the predictions for next weekend are pretty good:

"Saturday the 11th is looking like a better day for diving than for surfing, as waters are looking calm and tranquil.

Sunday the 12th is also looking like a serene day upon the SoCal waters, possibly ankle to knee high sets for the stoke-deprived. Models say we could see a splash of NW wind swell, but even that is looking more like ripples than waves at this point."

Of course those are the same folks who predicted 1-2 foot waves while we were watching 6-8 ft walls crash in front of us.

Don't mean to brag - but wave height has not been an issue in San Diego. The viz was down a little - but other than that, great diving weekend. I chose to sleep in on Monday rather than dive...but Sunday was good, Saturday was better and Friday was great!
