Thought I would share the following links that I just stumbled across. This probably isn't new news to some, but I never realized there is a So. Cal. wave height model available through CDIP (Coastal Data Information Program). I've been looking at the swell model for months as a reference for local conditions. But swell and waves are obviously two different parameters, and as I observed last Sunday morning, the swell model was nice and blue but the waves were 5' and growing at Shaw's. The Cottage in Laguna is an excellent place for breakfast as a consolation to staying dry. Enjoy.
