i have a kodak dx6490 and i really want to use it underwater so i am looking for a case that will let me take it diving

No housing for that camera, not a wise choice Ginger.
I see this problem all the time, divers buy a digital camera without checking to see if there is a housing for it. Always check www.digideep.com first before buying a camera.
