Are you using strobe/s, shooting macro or wide

400 speed would be safe. It's got enough speed for mixed light. Generally you don't have to worry about overexposing 400 speed print film. My choice would be Fuji Superia 400.

Macro - 100 asa
Wide - shallow bright - 100
wide - deeper - 200

I now shoot digital and for the most part set my camera to 200 asa.

400 ( can be grainy ) only for darker natural light conditions

I agree on Fuji as well. Superia is very good.

I seldom shto negative film except For wrecks, which I used Fuji NPC 160, ( pro film )

Thanks for the info, i'm using an ikelite 3e, which uses a p&s fuji advantix camera. i have the external strobe and macro lens..i have never done any uw photography so any hints would be appreciated...
