Sport Chalet has them (I know, I know...but it is the only place that I know for sure!)

but, are they the same price everywhere? I've a feeling that they're regulated by the DFG, so they are probably the same everywhere, but just want to make sure. I can just as easily go to about 10 different places for it, so just wanted to know if it mattered where I go.

As far as I know, prices are posted on their web site and that's what they all charge.

Hunting and fishing licence fee increase every year.

The fee is the same reguardless of where you purchase it.

Here's a DFG link

You will need:
1. Annual Resident licence $32.80 (This will expire on 1/1/05)
2. Ocean Enhancement Stamp $ 3.70 (This will expire on 1/1/05)

Based on the prices above, and depending on the number of times you'll actually be fishing between now and the end of 2004, it may be of some benefit to just buy a day license...
