So they named it Matthew - can it live up to my name?

Its not Ivan, but its still a downer for the weekend. Especially since I was supposed to be diving in Destin, FL this weekend. Arg... If its not too rainy/windy, I still may try Morrison or somethin, we'll see.

It sucks for the panhandle/S.AL, we're all still picking up trees. Everyone is scrambling to cover their roofing before the rain starts coming down and we can find all the new holes in our houses - LOL.

Welll, the good news is the wind will be coming from the west and maybe we can dive this weekend!
(no offense to all those living in the panhandle, I really do feel for ya)

Behave Matthew, behave! That line is awful close to my house :D .

Atleast, Matthew is not a Cat 4. He is still an infant, but I know that Al/Fl doesn't really need too much more rain.

My youngest son is a Matthew and his wife is Lisa, so we now have had both of them on the map. As a matter of fact the two of them are headed to Destin next weekend the 15-19th. But, they should do no damage.

We still have the 23rd to shoot for to dive the Jetties. Things should be calmed down by then.

Looks like its gonna take a beeline up LA instead :) Good news for us, bad news for them. Still gonna dive tomorrow, still dont' know where - jeddies or Morrison... hmmm...

Yeah, I'm really happy for ya..

Seriously, it's been raining here for 24 hours straight and Matthew appears to have much more for us over the next 24.

I'm willing to take one for the team though, as you guys have had enough! Besides, I've got two dive trips planned on the panhandle for later this month, so I don't want that water to keep getting mucked up!

Lights were flickering a few minutes ago though, losing power would suck!

I think I'll head to the gym then come home and take a nap. Just your average lazy tropical storm soaked Saturday! :eyebrow:

I like the way you think!

LOL Sorry :)

I'd rather it not hit there either, I do too much work in the area and I have lots of family in the area. Still, we don't need it!

Atleast you have your priorities straight, keep the panhandle nice for your dives :D
