Anyone have an update on USS Oriskany?

Has it been sunk yet? If not, when will it be.

If so, has anyone dove it yet?

Yeah.. Ivan sunk it for the state. Nobody's been able to dive it though because it's not known where it is!

KIDDING! I've not seen nor heard anything about what the current plans for sinking this vessel are. I have emailed the contact name, Robert Turpin, requeseting an update on the sinking

Mr Bulla-
Actually, the delay is related to discussions between the Navy & EPA regarding
non-liquid PCBs. It will probably spring before she is reefed. Feel free to
contact me after the first of the year for update.
