I know hurricane Jeanne damaged the docks in the area and sunk lots of boat in and around the bridge area. I've heard diving the bridge has been closed due to contamination of the water? Anyone know if and when it will be open to diving again?

I went out on Diving solutions today out of the Palm Beach Marina, Blue Heron Bridge is still closed with no date set "yet" to reopen

Is this a bridge that part of it collapsed? or was that in the keys, 7-mile?

Are you thinking of the I-10 bridge in Pensecola? The one with all the pictures tractor trailer minus it's cab that fell into away during Ivan?

I think when they finally do open it again that we should organise a group dive there, day or night (depending on tides) to celebrate it being poop free and ready to dive again!

Simon,
That sounds like a plan. A dive at Blue Heron is always a lot of fun... and always a new experience...
