Hey y'all!
Thinking about maybe headed to the islands for some Aloha time and to visit my heart next spring.
I haven't dove off Oahu, only Maui, and probably will be staying on the north shore somewhere, are there any dive ops in the Haliewa area? or anywhere else in the north shore area?
Mahalo,

There are a couple shops right in Haleiwa that I know of off hand. Surf n Sea and Deep Ecology.

Both do guided shore or boat dives - or you can just rent equipment if you like.

Mahalo,

Yes, there are 3 dive ops in Haliewa. I dove with Deep Ecology http://www.deepecologyhawaii.com/ecoacts/nets.shtml this August and was very pleased with them. You might wish to read the review of them & North Shore diving in general in the Oct '02 issue of Undercurrent http://www.undercurrent.org. If you go with DE, please tell Pat Johnson, the owner, that I send my best. She's a lovely & accommodating woman.

Best regards.

thanks guys, knew those shops had equipment and tanks for rent but wasn't sure if they had DM's or boats.
it's all still up in the air at this point, but just wanted to start to get my duck in a row.
thanks again
