Does anyone know the condition of these sites? Are they open and diveable? Me and a buddy will be heading to Ginnie for the Megadive this weekend and we're looking to hit some of the other springs in the area while we're in the same general part of the state.

Are there better alternatives? We're both OW divers, not doing any caves, but we've been in caverns deemed "safe" for OW divers before...

Afaik, they are always diveable, since they arnt connected to the rivers. DO me a favor and stop by Troy and such while your at Ginnie, and take some pics.

I'll most definately look into it if time allows :)

By the time we were done diving and got a bite to eat it was getting dark, so I don't have any pics for ya - time change came at the wrong time :)

I've done Blue Grotto before and have to say it was the more BORING dive I have ever done. The only neat thing was the diving bell at 30 feet. As for Devils Den, never personally dove it, but have heard good things. Hit Ginnie Springs - it is a blast.

We camped and dove at Ginnie Springs, had a blast and we'll definately be heading back.

Dove Devils Den on Halloween Day, it was alot of fun, we'll probably be going back at some point.

Dove Blue Grotto on the 30th, it was so-so I guess, but we're in no hurry to get back...

Got an entire dive report here http://www.scubaboard.com/t77197-megadive-party-trip-report.html if you're insterested in any of the sites.
